LA 立教大学校友会々則第一章 総則
第1条: 本会はLA 立教大学校友会と称する。
第2条: 本会は本部を会長宅におく。
第3条: 本会は会員相互の親睦を図り、立教大学の発展に寄与することを目的とする。
第4条: 本会は前条の目的を達成するため委員会の決議により必要と認めた行事を行う事ができる。
第二章 会員
第5 条: 本会の会員は普通会員、特別会員及び名誉会員とする。
1. 普通会員
(イ)立教大学卒業者及び大学院各課程終了者。
(ロ)立教小、中、高校、大学及び立教関係校の出身者。
2. 特別会員
普通会員を除く立教大学の現旧教職員で委員会で推薦された者。
3. 名誉会員
本会のために特に功労ありと認められた者で委員会で承認された 者。
三年間会費を納めない会員は除名とする。
第三章 役職員
第6 条: 本会の役員構成は、次の通りである。
会長1 名、副会長1 名又は2 名、会計1 名、会計監査1 名、スペシャル・イヴェント・
コーディネーター1 名、Town & Gown 幹事2 名但し会長が必要と認めた場合新たな役職と
役員を設置、指名できる。
第7 条: 本会は立教大学総長を名誉会長とする。
第8 条: 会長は役員会で決め、会員の承認を得る。
選出された会長が副会長及び他の役員を任命する。
第9 条: 会長は本会を代表し、会務を統轄すると共に総会並びに委員会の議長となる。
副会長は会長を補佐し、会長に支障のある時はその職務を代行する。
会計は会の会計事務を司り、会計報告を作成し総会にて報告する。
会計監査は本会の会計を年一度監査する。
スペシャル・イヴェント・コーディネーターは、行事の企画遂行をする。
第10 条: 役員の任期は2 ヵ年とする。但し再任を妨げない。また補欠によって就任した役員の任期は
前任者の残任期間とする。
第四章 総会
第11 条: 総会は定期及び臨時総会とする。
第12 条: 定期総会は毎年1 回会長がこれを召集する。
臨時総会は役員会において必要と認めた場合これを召集する。
第13 条: 定期総会には次の事項を提示する。
事業報告並びに行事計画、会計収支報告
第14 条: 総会の決議事項は出席会員の過半数をもって採決し、可否同数の場合は議長がこれを決する。
第15 条: 委員会は役員をもって構成する。会員は役員会にオブザーバーとして出席できる。
第五章 会計
第16 条: 本会の会計年度は毎年1 月1 日から12 月31 日とする
第17 条: 本会の経費は会費、活動によって得られた収入及び寄付金による。
第18 条: 総会において会計報告をし承認を得る。
第六章 雑則
第19 条: 本会則に規定しない事項は、役員会の決議をもってこれを定めることができる。冠婚葬祭、
行事及び広告等。
第20 条: 総会及び委員会の表決は、役員会の決議により書面によってもできる。
第21 条: 会員がその住所、氏名、職業、及び勤務先を変更した場合はすみやかに本会宛て通知しなけ
ればならない。
第22 条: 会員が本会及び母校の名誉に対して著しくそこなう所業があった場合は、役員会の決議によ
って除名することができる。
第七章 Town & Gown
第23 条: 原則的には女性中心の会でLA立教会会員とその関係者及び立教大学に関心のある者により
なる。
第24 条: 会員同士の親睦を図り、又、立教大学の学生達との交流、地域への貢献を目的とする。
付則
第25 条: 本会則は2007 年3 月17 日から実施する。
第26 条: 本会則は立教大学校友会々則(昭和35 年5 月19 日改正)を基本とする。

Chapter I - General Provisions
Article 1. The name of the Association is Rikkyo University Alumni Association at Los Angeles- LA Rikkyo Kai.
Article 2. The headquarters of the Association is located on the home address of the elected Chairperson/President at the time.
Article 3. The purpose of the Association is to promote the mutual friendship of the members and contribute to the development of Rikkyo University of Rikkyo Gakuin.
Article 4. The Association may conduct activities which are deemed necessary by resolution of the Board of Representatives to accomplish the purpose described in the preceding Article.
Chapter II Members
Article 5. The members of the Association shall be comprised of regular members, special members and Honorary members.
1. Regular members
(a) Graduates of Rikkyo University and persons who have completed courses of study at Rikkyo University Graduate School;
(b) Persons who were students of Rikkyo Elementary School, Rikkyo Junior High School, Rikkyo High School and other Rikkyo related schools.
2. Special members
Faculty members of Rikkyo University other than regular members and persons who are accepted as special members at a meeting of the Board of Representatives.
3. Honorary members
Persons who are deemed to have given special contributions to the Association and are accepted as special members at a meeting of the Board of Representatives.
Persons who fail to pay the membership fee for 3 consecutive years will be terminated.
Chapter III Officers and Personnel
Article 6. Officers of the Association shall be as follows:
Chairperson/President: 1 person, Vice-chairperson/Vice-President: 1 or 2 persons, Accountant: 1 person, Auditor: 1 person, Recording Secretary: 1 person, Town & Gown Committee Member: 1 or 2 persons. If necessary, Chairperson/President can create new assignments/positions and officers on his or her judgment.
Article 7. The honorary chairperson of the Association shall be the President of Rikkyo University.
Article 8. The chairperson/President shall be self nominated or nominated by others from the Association members and be elected.
Vice-chairperson/ Vice President and all other officers shall be appointed the Chairperson/President.
Article 9. “The Chairperson/President” shall represent the Association, supervise the affairs of the Association, and preside over the General Meeting of Members and Board of Representatives.
“The Vice-chairpersons/Vice President” shall assist the Chairperson/President if the Chairperson/President is unable to act, he or they shall perform the duties of the Chairperson/President on his/her behalf.
“The Accountant” shall keep the book and present the accounting statement at the General Meeting of Members.
“The Auditors” shall audit the accounting once at the end of the fiscal year.
“Recording Secretary” shall keep the record of the General Meeting and other Meetings of Board of Representatives, and report all past events of the fiscal year at the General Meeting.
Article 10 The term of office for officers other than Representatives shall be two (2) years; provided, however, the term of office of an officer who assumed their position in the middle of the term of office shall be coextensive with the remainder of the term of office.
Chapter IV General Meeting of Members
Article 11 The General Meeting of Members shall be comprised of Regular General Meeting and General Meeting on a temporary basis.
Article 12 The Chairperson/President shall convene the General Meeting of Members each year.
The Chairperson/President shall convene a General Meeting of Members on a temporary basis if deemed necessary by the Board of Representatives.
Article 13 The Board of Representatives shall provide the followings at the General Meeting of Members; the report of the general activities, and the income and expenditure statement.
Article 14 Resolutions at the General Meeting of Members shall be adopted by a majority of the members present and, in the event of a tie vote, the Chairperson shall decide the issue.
Article 15 Any members of the Association shall be allowed attend the meeting of the Board of Representatives as observers.
Chapter V Accounting
Article 16 The fiscal year of the Association shall commence on January 1 and end on December 31 of each year.
Article 17. In principle, the Association shall be operated based on membership fees, income from the event and donations.
Article 18 The accounting report shall be presented and required to be approved at the General Meeting of Members.
Chapter VI Miscellaneous
Article 19 The Issues not regulated in this Bylaw such as Association member’s weddings, funerals and advertisements, etc. shall be decided by the vote at a meeting of the Board of Representatives.
Article 20 Voting rights may be exercised in writing or by EDT (Electronic Document Transmissions) at a meeting of the Board of Representatives or at the General Meeting of Members.
Article 21 The members shall immediately notify the Association of any change in address, name, and place of work, or other information.
Article 22 If a member does any act that is detrimental to the reputation of the Association or alma mater, said member may be removed by Board of Representatives resolution.
Chapter VII Town & Gown
Article 23 In principal, Town & Gown shall be comprised of the female members of the Association and their families and friends who are interested in Rikkyo University and its activities.
Article 24 The purpose of the Town & Gown is to promote the mutual friendship of the members and the students of Rikkyo University and to contribute to the local societies.
Supplementary Provisions
Article 25 These Regulations shall become effective on March 17, 2007.
Article 26 These Regulations shall become effective on May 19, 1984.
